This return policy has been crafted in accordance with European Union consumer protection regulations while considering the special nature of art products.
EU Consumer Rights and Withdrawal Period
In compliance with EU Directive on Consumer Rights, consumers residing in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods, without providing any reason. This "cooling-off period" is a fundamental consumer right for distance selling within the EU.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
According to EU regulations, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following products that constitute a significant portion of our offerings:
Products Not Eligible for Return:
1. Custom-Made Artwork: Any artwork that has been created or modified according to your specific requests.
2. Commissioned Artwork: Pieces created specifically for you based on your commission.
3. Limited and Numbered Editions: Artwork that is part of a limited series with individual numbering.
4. Framed Artwork or Prints: Any piece that has been framed according to your specifications.
5. Original Artworks: One-of-a-kind pieces created by our artists that cannot be replicated.
6. Made-to-Order Prints: Prints that are produced specifically after your order is placed.
Return Process for Eligible Items
For items that do not fall under the exceptions listed above, the following return process applies:
1. Notification: You must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase in writing (email is acceptable) within 14 calendar days of receiving the item.
2. Return Period: After notifying us, you have an additional 14 calendar days to return the item.
3. Return Condition: The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging, with all protective materials intact.
4. Return Costs: Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item.
Refund Information
If you are eligible for a refund under this policy:
1. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
2. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of either receiving the returned item or evidence that you have sent back the item.
3. The refund will be issued using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive artwork that is damaged or incorrect:
1. Please notify us within 48 hours of receipt with photographs of the damage.
2. We will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate.
3. In this case, we will cover the return shipping costs.
